Patent No. 6,579,516: Laboratory Skin Care Inc. (LSC), San Francisco, has patented LSC Anti-Microbial moisturizer, an antibacterial hand lotion containing triclosan. Executives said any company manufacturing an emollient-based antibacterial lotion or lotion soap with triclosan must license this technology from LSC.
